Hedge cutting and pruning

I pruned these conifers at Farley near Beauly this morning, along with the beech hedge. They’ve been well shaped and only need a cut once a year now, these conifers have kept that tight round shape even through heavy snow falls. One spring after the snow melted a round hole appeared half way up at the side of the conifer, the mystery was solved when a rabbit appeared.
